1. Connection

The following guide will help you to configuring your Obihai device for use with sipgate Team.

2. Login

Follow the instructions in the device manual to access your Obihai Web Server-Based Local Configuration menus.

1. Ein Telefon an den Obi VoIP Adpater anschließen und *** anrufen

2. Drücken Sie im Sprachmenü "1" und notieren Sie sich die IP Adresse ggf. 192.168.0.xxx

3. Tragen Sie die IP Adresse am PC in Ihren Browser: Safari, FireFox, Internet Explorer ein

4. Es sollte sich das Webmenü des ObiHai öffen und nach Zugangsdaten fragen

5. Login: Benutzername: admin und Passwort: admin

Im Webmenü des ObiHai
Router Configuration-->Wan Settings:
AdressingType: DHCP damit der Router IP und Mac Adresse automatisch an den ObiHai sendet
DNS Server1: IP Adresse Ihres Routers eintragen, sofern nicht bereits eingetragen

Im Webmenü des ObiHai
Router Configuration-->Lan Settings:
CurrentRouterIPAddress: sollte Ihre Router IP Adresse anzeigen
OperationMode: Router (sofern Sie den Adapter hinter einem Router verwenden)
RouterIPAddress: IP Adresse Ihres Routers
SubnetMask: sollte automatisch befüllt sein

4. Test your configuration

How to test whether your device is working properly:

Method 1:

Call 10000 from your device. You will hear an automated announcement.

Method 2:

Call your sipgate phone number from a landline phone. You can find your sipgate phone number under 'My settings'.

How to test the call quality:

Call 10005 (sip:10005@sipgate.de) from your device to carry out an echo test. This test allows you to check whether your device is configured properly, as well the quality of the connection. Please leave a short voice message (maximum 30 seconds). The system will then immediately play back the message to you. Your message will automatically be deleted after playback.
