1. Connection

Please connect your Cisco 504G with your local network and use the following guide to configure the phone with your sipgate account.

This guide assumes that DHCP is enabled on your local network, so that your Cisco phone automatically obtains an IP address from your router.
2. Login

To get the IP address of your phone press the "Setup" button, then select "Network". The IP Address will be displayed under "Current IP".

To access the phone Web Interface, open a browser on your computer and enter the IP Address in the browser"s address bar e.g. http://192.168.2.x

How to test whether your device is working properly:

Method 1:

Call 10000 from your device. You will hear an automated announcement.

Method 2:

Call your sipgate phone number from a landline phone. You can find your sipgate phone number under 'My settings'.

How to test the call quality:

Call 10005 (sip:10005@sipgate.de) from your device to carry out an echo test. This test allows you to check whether your device is configured properly, as well the quality of the connection. Please leave a short voice message (maximum 30 seconds). The system will then immediately play back the message to you. Your message will automatically be deleted after playback.
