1. Connection

Please use this guide to setup the following Aastra devices with sipgate Team:

Aastra 6730i, 6731i, 6739i, 6751i, 6753i, 6755i and 6757i

2. Login

To access the Aastra Web User Interface, please enter the IP address of your Aastra phone into the web browser of a computer connected to the same network.

This guide assumes that DHCP is enabled on your local network, so that your Aastra automatically obtains an IP address from your router.

To find the phone"s IP address press the Options button --> Phone Status --> IP & Mac Addresses . If the displayed IP address is 0.0.0.0, please powercycle your Aastra and router making sure your phone and router are properly connected.

The default login credentials for the Web UI are:

User: admin
Password: 22222

4. Test your configuration
How to test whether your device is working properly:

Method 1:

Call 10000 from your device. You will hear an automated announcement.

Method 2:

Call your sipgate phone number from a landline phone. You can find your sipgate phone number under 'My settings'.

How to test the call quality:

Call 10005 (sip:10005@sipgate.de) from your device to carry out an echo test. This test allows you to check whether your device is configured properly, as well the quality of the connection. Please leave a short voice message (maximum 30 seconds). The system will then immediately play back the message to you. Your message will automatically be deleted after playback.
